Well, what began as a blank canvas of a room, has now started to look like a nursery. Scrapbooking supplies, and guitars have dissapeared and what was once plain white walls has made way for Tanner & Tatum.

We tried our hand at Wood Laminate Flooring and it looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself.

Johnna is putting on the final plank of the flooring.

This is a day laborer that we picked up down on the corner...total waste of money!

Here's Johnna and the original baby.

Here's some decorations for the nursery.

Thank God for starting out with 10 fingers.

These letters turned out really good.

Our first Ultrasound! Suprise....Twins!! What a day! "...it seems my life, is gonna' change" We went to dinner that night and gave Johnna's parents two little matching outfits. They didn't get it at first (they were thinking, why did you get US baby clothes?). They both flipped out.
We e-mailed this picture to my mom. She of course flipped out too!

This is my beautiful little mom-to-be not really showing yet but she says she can tell a difference. 2 months along.

10 weeks pregnant! We've got babies! Today was the first day to see something that resembles babies. This was the coolest day of our lives. They're going to be good dancers. We got to see them move a whole lot, moving their little hands and feet at the same time.

yep, 3 months along and starting t o show!

This is the 12 weeks mark! We met our new Dr. He's the best in the West. He's hilarious and really makes you feel comfortable. His office is really high-tech and there is a big T.V. to view the ultrasound on. The babies looked so clear. He asked us right away if we wanted to know what they were. Johnna and I looked at each other and were like Yes! We couldn't believe they could tell at twelve weeks. We waited in anticipation to find out. "Twin A" was...a girl! We were elated but so curious to see if it would be one of each or two girls. "Twin B"...stands for Boy!!! One of each (the only scenario that we didn't have names picked out for)! We were thrilled; and it will be nice to not have to refer to them as "A" and "B".

4 months along. We had an appointment with Dr. Rowe and Johnna's mom and dad were there and my mom. The ultrasound room was full of excited parents and grandparents! The babies are 6 ounces each and about 6inches long. We found out that Tanner is on Johnna's right side head down and Tatum is on her left side, "right-side-up." After that, we met my Meemaw and we all went and bought the nursery furniture with the help of ALL our parents and then we went to dinner to celebrate. It was the first time that our parents had seen an ultrasound in person. We all had fun.

Today we had another appointment with Dr. Rowe. 20 weeks tomorrow! They did another ultrasound and they're growing fast. They estimated that the babies are about 9 or 10 inches long. That's about the size of a VHS cassette tape.
Johnna has been able to feel the babies for a couple of weeks now (17 or 18 weeks) but since about 18 1/2 weeks, I've been able to feel them from the outside! She'll probablly get sick of my hands being there soon. Oh, and now both Tanner and Tatum are head down/feet up with Tanner on the right and Tatum on the left.

We thought that this would be a great way to keep everyone up to date and share our latest photos.
