Father's Day

Troy had a wonderful Father's Day!! Time to brag.......no offense to the other dads out there but Troy is the Best Daddy in the world!! He blows my mind every single day. He works hard at his job and comes home to work even harder to help me out with the twins. He truly helps me with EVERYTHING!!! The kids absolutely ADORE their Daddy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, I have the most amazing husband and father to my children!!
Tatum and Tanner got their Daddy new sunglasses, Tatum decided they looked better on her!
It is soooo cute, the kids have learned how to really kiss, pucker sound and all!!

Happy Father's Day
We love you Daddy!!!

We're Pregnant!!

Troy and I couldn't be more excited to share this wonderful news with you!! Baby # 3 is due December 17th, 2008 and we just can't wait for his/her arrival. Tatum and Tanner have blessed this family beyond words and we just know that this baby will too. The Lord has been so good to us!! We look forward to sharing this wonderful but crazy ride with you! To think we will have 3 kiddos under the age of 2!!!!
The picture at the top of the page is of the t-shirts we made to tell our family about our new little bundle of joy. We had to follow the tradition of the t-shirts we used to tell everyone we were pregnant with the twins!
So far everything has gone well. I had a bad case of morning sickness in the beginning that lasted 3 weeks. I feel pretty lucky that it ended so fast!! I have felt great ever since. I LOVE being pregnant. My belly has began to grow, I had no clue it would pop out so fast!!

Here is baby # 3 at 11 weeks old.
Here is my baby bump at 11 weeks.

13 weeks
Mother's intuition tells me that this little baby is a boy so I have been calling it a him and only looking at boy names!! HE HE
Stay tuned for pictures and to find out if my mothers intuition is right!!

Snow in June??

The 100% humidity air feels heavier than ever as we step outside the airport terminal at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport. With two giant car seats, 88 pounds of luggage, two diaper bags, two strollers and two toddlers in tow, we struggle to fill our lungs with heavy air. All the same, its nice to be home in good old Texas.
'Heavy air' because we spent the last week nearly two miles above our home elevation where the air is noticeably thinner. And noticeably cooler.
Troy's mom and stepdad rented a cabin in The Rocky Mountain National Park, in Estes Park, Colorado. It was a very welcome change in temperature from home. Our high for the whole stay was near 75 degrees F. The lows...near 35 degrees. (A little too cold at night!)
And yes, snow! It was snowing in June. Troy and Johnna are from Texas, there is no snow to mention most years, there is no snow in history in June.

Here are some pictures from our stay:

Aspen tree with the Rocky Mountains in the background.

This is near the summit. You may notice the visitor center is closed since the snow is up to the roof.
This is the Thomson crew standing in front of the Great Divide at close to 13,000 feet. |As you can tell, it is very windy.|

This is our cabin. It looks small (which it is compared to normal houses) but it actually wasn't that small. It is three bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen/dining/living room in the center.
This is after a hike with the fam:
Top: Tatum, Dexter (Troy's step dad), Troy, Johnna, Tanner, Michelle (Troy's mom)
Bottom: Ty (our nephew)
Here's Johnna and Tanner next to a rushing river of melting snow.
Here are Tatum and Tanner playing with Mommy and Grandpa respectively:

Johnna snapped this of a young bull elk just before he came in our car on the way to town.
Tatum and Johnna feeding the chipmunks.
These are mountain goats which are kind of the symbol of Colorado and the Rocky Mountains.

The babies were cold at night because the cabin didn't heat the bedrooms very well when it was that cold, and flying for "free" doesn't always seem like much of a benefit like when they pull your bags off or bump you from the flight all together since you aren't a paying passenger. So its nice to be home. But the temperature was a great break and we made many family memories.

Lakehouse Trip

We took a trip to the lake house two weeks ago! We had a wonderful time, unfortunately the water was pretty cool and I didn't get any pictures from our short dip in the water.
Here are the twins feeding the goats!
Tanner didn't want to stop.
We took a boat ride with Grandma and Grandad.
My Boys!!
Here they are wanting to go outside (what they do ALL day long!!) They would probably sleep out there if I would let them!!
Hanging out on the porch.

Weekend in Galveston

Troy's Dad rented a beach house a couple of weeks ago so we went down for a couple of days. This was the first time for the babies to play at the beach!
Here we are about to take a ride in Pappy's new toy!
Tatum LOVED the water!!
Tanner was not so sure, he preferred to stay in mommy's arms.
They both loved playing in the sand. If you are wondering, we had to bring the play yard because it has become near impossible to keep up with these two CRAZY toddlers!!
Playing Peek-A-Boo.
Just being cute!
Just chillin with Daddy!
Tanner is a pro at punching the balloon.
Mommy lovin on Tatum!

Just for fun!

I found this cute Sunflower costume in some hand-me-downs so I had to put it on Tatum!! She looked ADORABLE!! Too bad it's not Halloween!!
Bottoms up!
Hanging out with Grandma Moody!! Tatum is Grandma's little mini me!
We caught Tatum tearing the newspaper apart.
