Tatum Kathleen

Crazy Kids!!
There is a cross with a candle on it hanging on the wall that Tatum is looking at in these pictures. Both of the kids stare at this candle all the time. They just smile and start laughing. It is sooooo weird!! They end up being the ones entertaining us by laughing at this thing. We have decided that there is a guardian angel sitting on top of it smiling down on them that only they can see!! HE HE Well it's a nice thought at least!!

4 months old!

Today the babies are 4 months old!! This month has been very exciting, the babies have grown so much!!! They are turning into little people full of personality!! You can pretty much get them to smile every time you smile at them. They are both soooo ticklish, especially their feet and the top of their legs. Their little laughs and cackles are so adorable. They are also talking up a storm, in fact Tanner never stops!! Next week we go to the doctor for their 4 month check-up so I'm not sure about their weights and lengths, I will update you when we find out!

The Babies Christening

This past weekend we loaded up and went to Odessa to get the twins Christened at my old church. For those of you who don't know, I spent most of my childhood in Odessa and my entire side of the family still lives there. Tatum and Tanner got to meet many new family members!!
This is my dad's sister Donna. Her son was also Christened at the same church with the same pastor. This is my dad's mom with Tanner. She hosted the party for the babies at her home. The night before the Christening we went and ate at my favorite restaurant with my mom's side of the family. Here are all four generations!!!This is my old church, Risen Lord Lutheran Church. My parents, aunts and cousins were all married here. I, along with a lot of my cousins were Christened here.
This is Pastor Otterness. This wonderful man is the same Pastor that performed all of the wedding ceremonies for my parents and family. He also Christened my dad, me and now the twins. It was an amazing experience and such an honor to have Pastor O do the ceremony.
Here is Tatum as we call it "getting sprinkled".And now it's Tanners turn. I have to tell you, it was soooo beautiful because Tanner was just smiling up at me and Pastor O the entire time.

Here are the three generations christened by Pastor O.
Proud Parents!I bought Tatum this special bonnet, it turns into a handkerchief that she can carry with her on her wedding day as I did with mine!!The pictures don't give justice for how cute Tanner man looked. He was wearing a little silk suit!Donna, Derek, and their sons Tyler and Mason. Missing from the picture was my stud little cousin who was at his baseball game out of town. The twins with the twins.
Mike, Sally, Tyler, and Ashley. This is my mom's brother.

First Swim!!

Yesterday the babies went swimming in their new pool! Well I really wouldn't call it swimming, more like sitting in some warm water. Yes I know, they are spoiled, do you really think I could put them in cold water!! HE HE The babies sat there mesmerized by the water the whole time!! I think they enjoyed chewing on their rubber duckies more than anything else!!
We all had a wonderful time!!
