Gone Camping

We went in the middle of November to Huntsville State Park. Yes, in a tent...with two two-year-olds, and an 11 month old...and two dogs. The weather was great though.

Everyone pitched in pitching the tent.

We didn't know how well the kids were going to sleep so we wanted to make sure there weren't too many people close by so that we wouldn't disturb our neighbors.
That night we built a fire *no gasoline used in the making of this fire* and we roasted hotdogs and smores of course.
The following day we went hiking and saw deer and the kids had a blast.

It was cold at night but warmed up nicely during the day

Everyone had fun hiking and getting dirty!

Sugar Plum Tea

In November, Mommy and Tatum went to The Sugar Plum Tea together for a girl's night out.
They began the evening by the little girls being made over in the salon
Tatum loves playing with make-up
She asks all the time to get her nails painted.
Letting those nails dry.
There were Soooooo many treats. We didn't find any sugar plums though.
The show was of course The Nutcracker
It was so cute and Tatum LOVED it.

Carter's 1!

Well, He's actually almost 2 now (just kidding).
Sorry its taken so long but here are the pictures from Carter's party. It was such a blast.
His Mommy sure can throw a party.
We put the appropriate number of these tickets we made in each invitation.

This is the front of the invitation.

All of the Grandparents were a huge help with the kids and the party as usual. And we want to say thank you again for loving our children so much!

What's a party without cake?
What's a baseball game without popcorn, peanuts and cracker-jacks?
Get your free hot dogs!
We feel very fortunate to have a family and friends that are always in attendance when there is a special event to celebrate. Thank You all.

We had a foam floor baby play area and a full tee ball diamond for the "bigger kids."
Carter takin' his best crack at his pinata.
This pinata was more like plaster of paris than paper mache'
Carter's cousin Shelby was knocking the fire out of this thing and it still had to be helped along with a pocket knife to spill the goods.

Mommy and Daddy made Carter's personal pan cake for him to dig into

So giving!
So messy!
This is Grandma Domaschk and her great grandchildren. I thought this was a cool picture.
Here is almost all of the grandchildren
We had a great time and can't believe that Carter is already 1 year old.
We're excited to watch him grow and learn and look forward to what 2010 has in store for this little man.
