First Father's Day!!

This day ended up being extra special for me and the babies because Troy was not even supposed to be here. For those of you who don't know Troy is upgrading to captain!! Good job captain Thomson!! He has been away at training for a week in Virginia and just came back in town. He was supposed to be out of town for 4 weeks, but God was good and he is getting to do a lot of his training here in Houston!! So......he got to be with us for breakfast and church on Father's Day!!!
I think Troy has done such an AMAZING job as a dad!! He has impressed me everyday!! Thank you Troy for being such a good daddy. Happy Father's Day!!!Here he is waking up the babies and finding that each of them had a wonderful surprise for him. And no, it wasn't a dirty diaper!!! They had gifts waiting for their daddy! The twins even got to join us for breakfast. By the look on Tanner's face I think he is wanting the last biscuitBest Buds!!! Tatum helped her daddy open his gifts!! Troy loved all of his gifts!! He got a new phone, picture of the kiddos and new "captain shoes"!
Thank you Troy for these beautiful little gifts!!! We all three LOVE you!! I hope you had the best Father's Day ever!!

I love you Daddy!!

Big Babies!!

Four Month Checkup!

Yesterday we went to see Dr. Quillin for our checkup and shots(not fun!!). He kept saying he couldn't believe how big they were. He also was surprised at how the babies are staying neck and neck on weight and height. They are both in the 89 percentile. I think we are going to have some tall kiddos!!! He even told us to start fruits and veggies!!
Tatum was 25 1/4 inches tall and weighed 16 lbs. and 6 ozs.
Tanner was 25 3/4 inches tall and weighed 17 lbs. and 5 ozs.

Here is the wonderful Dr. Quillin! As you can see Tanner was not happy about going to the doctor!

Our first time to try real FOOD!!!

Bring on the grub!!!

Thank you so much for our bibs Angela, we love them!!

"What in the world is this?"
"Yuck!! This taste like cardboard!! Where's my milk???"
I think Tatum ended up with more on her bib and face than in her mouth!
Miss independent took the spoon from Troy and stuffed it into her mouth. I guess he wasn't doing it good enough for her!!

What great manners she already has, she even wipes her face by herself!!

A day at the pool!

This was our first trip to the pool!! The twins didn't know what to think! The water was pretty cold so it took them a while to get used to it. After we spent some time floating around in the water they began to like it!!

New Toys!!

We brought out some new toys last week!! Tanner LOVES the Jumparoo!!! I can't believe how he is is jumping all around. They are growing up too fast! Tatum's favorite new toy is the exersaucer. She has really amazed us how she plays with each toy. It is so fun to watch them learn and grow each day
